My Portfolio

Welcome to my portfolio. Here you’ll find a selection of my work. Explore my projects to learn more about what I do.

Interactive Dashboards in PowerBI

Leveraging Power Query, I created a comprehensive analysis to quantify the net gain in operational hours during holidays and weekends for USPS stations in Miami Beach. This involved collating and filtering relevant data to derive actionable insights pertaining to operational efficiency. Through this initiative, I showcased my proficiency in data transformation, visualization, and the creation of dynamic, interactive PowerBI dashboards that drive informed decision-making and optimize operational efficiency.

Historical Data Analysis in PowerBI

I performed a rigorous analysis of historical pay tables for the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), with a keen focus on delineating the pay disparities between preceding and updated pay structures. The initial phase entailed a meticulous data cleansing and transformation process using Power Query, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data for subsequent analysis. Utilizing Power BI, I orchestrated a series of descriptive visualizations, elucidating the lifetime pay differentials.

Pivot Table Analyses in Excel

Utilized advanced Excel functionalities to construct pivot tables, enabling a thorough examination and interpretation of operational data within a manufacturing scenario. This analytical approach facilitated the identification of pivotal operational issues.

What-If Analyses in Excel

Solver.JPG

I leveraged the Solver tool in Excel to execute a 'What-If' analysis, aimed at optimizing the allocation of a marketing budget across various campaign advertisements, while adhering to multiple constraints. I was able to identify an optimal budget distribution strategy that is projected to enhance the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns.

Simulation Modeling in Excel

Utilized simulation modeling and advanced Excel formulas to analyze and compare optimal purchasing plans for a vehicle. Through this meticulous analysis, I was able to provide robust recommendations for the most advantageous leasing arrangements, aligning with the financial objectives and operational requisites of the concerned parties.

Database Design in SQL

EER diagram.JPG

Utilizing MySQL Workbench, I developed an EER Diagram to visually represent the database schema which ensured clarity and correctness in design. The database was meticulously structured with DDL statements to define table attributes, primary keys, foreign keys, and other constraints ensuring data integrity and referential integrity. The project also showcased my competency in SQL querying to extract actionable insights from data.

LASSO Regression in R

LASSO.JPG

A New York dataset was employed to perform regularization and variable selection using the Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator (LASSO) technique in Rstudio. The core objective was to compare the median value of owner-occupied homes (MEDV) with other variables within the dataset to identify significant predictors.

Decision Tree in R

Decision Tree R.JPG

Leveraging RStudio, I executed a machine learning endeavor employing the Decision Tree algorithm to address a classification challenge. The objective of the Decision Tree was to classify a series of predictor variables into a binary classification. The focus was on analyzing a dataset of mushrooms, scrutinizing several attributes to ascertain whether they were edible or poisonous.

Cluster Analysis in R

This analysis in R adeptly leveraged clustering techniques to unveil patterns and groupings within a dataset of computer specifications. By harnessing the k-means algorithm alongside the Elbow Method, an optimal K-value of 7 was discerned, facilitating the creation of seven nearly equal clusters. The findings from this analysis stand to inform decision-making protocols within the computer industry and furnish insights into consumer behavior.

Interactive Mapping in Tableau

Utilizing Tableau and Java, I crafted an interactive map that illustrated route data for the United States Postal Service. This endeavor commenced with the acquisition and cleansing of pertinent route data, post which, I employed Java to process and prepare the data for visualization. Subsequently, I leveraged the robust visualization capabilities of Tableau to develop an intuitive and interactive map.
